Yes, I’m posting on a Thursday and throwing of the alliteration of Wine Wags Wednesday. Let me explain. Yesterday, I went under the knife. In a true “throwback” I again tore an ACL and needed to have it repaired. This was not my first rodeo when it comes to this injury or surgery but nonetheless, I’m not a happy camper right now. I thought about posting Tuesday night, however, I was not permitted to eat and frankly, quite cranky. Since I attempt to keep my blogs positive, Tuesday would not have been a pleasant post. I appreciate everyone’s good thoughts for a quick recovery. I’ll be happy when I’m not sporting this “poodle cut” in my hind quarters. As you know, I love to tag along when we have tours of the vineyard. This weekend on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm we will have our first tours of the season. I’m not permitted to join you, but don’t stay away because you can’t see me. I’ll tell you what you will see when you take this weekend’s tours…our new bottling line from France. It’s shiny and beautiful. Also, when you stop by this weekend you’ll have an opportunity to purchase some delicious food snacks and cheese plates from Aaron & Marisa of Buy The Farm and Easton Salsa Company. They use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to make amazing sauces, hummus, salsa and chips. I do hope someone saves me a doggie bag.
Until next time…
